All things hot rod, tiki and more

Born in 1960, Bill “Daddy Katz” Winger, values all things hot rod, tiki and of a certain genre of art and manufacture.

“Most kids collected baseball cards. Me? I spent my time dumpster diving and collecting tiki”, says Bill. In addition to tiki, Bill was influenced by any TV show that contained a cool car, like “The Munsters” or “The Monkees”. And so, tiki and hot rods were combined into an obsession.

As I maneuvered through my teen-age and young adult years, my friends and I rebuilt a 1968 Impala 4-door. We dropped in a big-block engine, jacked it up and that was the start of my hot rod career.

That was then …

That was the late ‘70’s. In the ‘80’s, hot rodding was put aside by Bill Winger so that time and money could be spent on music. Alternative, of course. Then came the 1990’s, and Bill expanded his life as he added a loving wife and 2 girls to the Winger family.

With a wonderful family established and secured, Bill is now able to commit his time and energy to his passion for Kustom Kulture. And is he ready!

On-line, participation in car shows and soon…a special place for Kustom Kulture to occupy on a permanent and very cool basis…Daddy Katz is providing “cool” for you!
